The Professional River Outfitters Association of Alberta (PROAOA) represents white water rafting and canoe companies providing professional guiding services. PROAOA is comprised of voluntary members concerned with the safety and well being of their guests.  As such, all members conform voluntarily to the safety and regulation standards recommended by PROAOA to ensure that expert and responsible guides conduct commercial whitewater tours in Alberta.
